This week room twelve has been playing math games. We have to pick a game to play and then take a screenshot of it and write down what we have learnt about it. This game I thought that it was going to be easy but when i played it was kind of tricky.I only had a little area to drive in but I just had to move the cars around then my car can go through the exit.

Math blogs
This week rm12 has been learning about geometry. We got a question that showed a circle, we have to draw the circle using a compass. When we had drawn it we had to write down if it had a base, side and or
corners does it have. After that we got another shape that was a cube, we had to do the same thing what we had done to the circle and do it to the cube. Our next shape that we got was a cylinder, we wrote it down the same as the circle and cube. Our next shape was a square pyramid, that shape was the hardest one until my friend helped me draw it out.
This is a cube I made from a net that Mrs Barry gave us. We made all different shapes.

WW1 3 sentences
For this week in Room 12 we have been learning about ANZAC, but first we have to write a brainstorm. After when we finished doing our brainstorm then we have to get on doing our paragraph. We had to look at the picture and write down what are they doing.
We had to think about what the soldiers could see and how they feel if you will be there and how old were they and why did they go to war.
When these men went to war some of them got shot. Before they went to war they said good bye to their children and to their wife and the nice food that they have been eating before they went to war.

Father's Day
WALT: use simile and metaphor to make our story more interesting.
My Father
My father is so kind. He is always there for me and he is handsome as a flower. He is a father that is respectful and he is always listening to what we are saying. On father’s day, I can’t give him the world but I can give him all the love I have. He is as tall as the sky tower and he is as intelligent as a scientist. He always teaches me everything and when I am sick he tries to do everything to make me feel better. He is a teacher, a doctor and of course a great father to me. He is as colourful as a rainbow and he is known as Handyman in our family. He is the best father I can ever think of.
